Mahler’s Symphony No. 7

Gustav Mahler was born 160 years ago today, in 1860. We mark this 7/7 with our performance of Mahler’s 7th Symphony, conducted by Leon Botstein at the Fisher Center at Bard in February 2018. Mahler allegedly completed most of the symphony in just four weeks, during one of the happiest moments of his life and career.
