Part of TŌN’s Free Concerts series

TŌN and conductor Zachary Schwartzman return to the Great Hall at Cooper Union for the first time in nine years for a free afternoon concert of audience favorites. The program comprises Mendelssohn’s emotional Fair Melusine Overture, Haydn’s sparkling Symphony No. 88, and two ballet works that debuted in Paris in 1920: Stravinsky’s suite of highlights from Pulcinella and Milhaud’s lively The Ox on the Roof.
