TŌN alumnus Milad Daniari speaks with us about how the program helps musicians learn to be critical thinkers, focusing on how music can inspire audiences, and how rewarding his time in TŌN was, helping him to grow into becoming a professional musician. He also speaks about his experience performing as soloist with TŌN for the NY premiere of Tan Dun’s Bass Concerto at Lincoln Center in 2023.
