Who is your biggest inspiration?

My parents have done so much to support my violin playing. I am so thankful for their generosity and willingness to nurture my journey with the violin. My mom is a huge inspiration. Her involvement from my earliest violin training largely shaped my growth as a violinist today. I also am grateful for my violin teachers who I find incredibly inspiring. My time studying with them serves as a constant springboard for exploration, improvement, and creativity during my violin practice and musical endeavors.

What is your favorite piece of music, and why do you love it?

I love Bizet’s Carmen (probably a little too much). I attended a production at Lyric Opera of Chicago as a child. It was like nothing I ever experienced.
