TŌN is thrilled to welcome guest conductor Joseph Young, Music Director of the Berkeley Symphony and Resident Conductor of the National Youth Orchestra–USA at Carnegie Hall. He is joined by acclaimed pianist Lara Downes, Performance Today’s 2022 Classical Woman of the Year, for a performance of Florence Price’s Piano Concerto in One Movement. Also on the program are A Short Piece for Orchestra by Julia Perry, and Rachmaninoff’s rhythmically expressive Symphony No. 3.
