TŌN begins its eighth season with Mahler’s heroic Fifth Symphony, plus two works featuring winners of the Bard College Conservatory Concerto Competition: George Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning Lilacs, and the virtuosic flute concerto of Joan Tower, who has taught composition at Bard for 50 years.
